If at first…
Once in a while I find myself being interviewed by a journalist. They must believe that I have something worthwhile to share with the world. I of course, would like to believe this is true! But, I’m not the one with my name currently in lights.
I am however, in the trenches – grinding it out, day after day, to make my dreams (of someday being in lights) a reality. Though I’ll admit winter sucks the life out of me when I have nowhere to go and it’s a whopping 11 degrees in the barn.
Yet, the reality is that at one time, those girls who, right now, have their name in lights, didn’t always have that notoriety. Further, that name in lights is fleeting. So I’ll just continue to work hard, and begin again as needed.
As you prepare to take on the 2023 season, I hope you’ll keep in mind the wisdom I was fortunate enough to share with all of you. Best of luck – we’ll see you down the road!
