Horsemanship for barrel racers clinics
Annually I will offer a few barrel racing clinics throughout the year that will help hone your horsemanship skills. These clinics will have you making timed runs, and learning drills, but the emphasis will be on building a horse with a solid foundation. It will help with any problems you’re having and my hope is by attending, you’ll become a more efficient rider.
We will focus on how a horse thinks, how to separate the parts of the horse, how to post the correct diagonal and why it’s important. Lateral control and softness will be taught. And we won’t forget proper positioning in the pattern! I’ll give you the tools to go home, solve problems to help you and your horse become a better team!
