Speed Control
Speed control is undoubtedly one of the things most beginner barrel racers, and even some of the seasoned veterans struggle with. In these videos I show you what I do to tune the horse into my seat and my energy. When your horse is thinking back to you, it’s easier to teach rate, and so many other things! Plus I firmly believe it keeps them quieter!
I hope you find these videos helpful — I’m sure that in the future we’ll have plenty more to discuss where this is concerned. At some point, I’m going to throw a leg over something that really struggles with thinking back to me. In the meantime, as always, ask your questions, and I’ll do my best to answer!
