Jennifer Zeller, Owner

Howdy, y’all! I am so humbled and grateful for the opportunity to share with you all about my passion for horse training. It has been a lifelong journey of learning, and growth. Developing the bond that can be formed between horse and rider is always a goal. As a horse trainer, barrel racer, writer, and photographer, I’ve been blessed to meet and work with so many wonderful people who share my love of horses! But it’s my work as a horse trainer that has truly been the most fulfilling. Watching a horse progress from a green colt to a reliable mount or solid barrel horse is an indescribable feeling.

My approach to horse training is based on the foundation of trust and respect between horse and rider. Every horse is unique and will teach you something different. They all think the same way but some require more of one foundational principle than another. I enjoy teaching and helping riders develop their horse in a way that meets their specific needs and goals.

Communication is key in horse training. Understanding equine body language, and foot-falls allows riders to communicate more effectively with their horse and build a stronger partnership. I also focus on developing the horse’s physical fitness and mental well-being to ensure that they’re ready to perform.

My program is designed to help riders improve their horsemanship skills to develop a clearer understanding of horses. It is my hope that my work in this industry will inspire humans to look at horses differently. My goal is to change the horse-human relationship one person at a time. I envision a world where horses are no longer blamed for the shortcomings of the human. Relationships are not one-sided.

My accomplishments include: features in Barrel Horse News, Western Horseman, 2020 Art of the Cowgirl Colt Starting Presenter, 2x BBR World Finals Short Round Qualifier, 30 years of colt starting, education people and their horses.

In conclusion, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to share my passion for horse training with you all. It is an honor to be a part of the barrel horse industry. I am committed to doing my part to help humans better understand their horses. Thank you all for your support and encouragement!

Sincerely,

Jenn Zeller
